Current Research Interests

My research focuses on the responses and feedbacks of biogeochemical cycles in vegetation ecosystems to global environmental changes. i.e. Emissions of CO2 and CH4 from tropical and boreal peatlands. I work with land surface models to explore the interactions among climate change, biogeochemical processes and physical properties and to understand their control mechanisms. Integrated data analysis of flux towers, field inventory, lab measurements and remote sensing is also involved in my research.
